The YMCA waterpark is closed for the Winter! Apparently, it is too cold. The kids handled the disappointment fairly well, but then they weren't allowed to use the hot-tub (16 or over only), the outdoor pool was full of a swim meet, and then the teen-center closed for the day. We will go back and try it again. Mali is just old enough to use the teen center, which was full of fun stuff. The kids swam with Susy in the indoor pool while I worked out.
Today we will go find a different beach - the kids want to find one with shells. The beautiful one by Irene's is full of nothing but brilliant white sand. We will be swimming there - maybe even today.
