Friday Night Excitement

Mali is spending the night at Tesia's house. She went straight from school so I haven't seen her since this morning.
Andrew went to Tiana's to watch a movie with a group of kids, and now they're at the football game.
Susy and I went for a walk with Moose, Alana, and Max, and now we're home alone - so we're going to bed early. Wow, we lead an exciting life!
Tomorrow night we're going out for dinner to a winery, and Sunday we're going downtown to celebrate Nancy's birthday. So we'd better sleep now.

Monday Night Festivities

Last night I grilled hamburgers for dinner, then we watched 10 Things I Hate About You. It's a movie about a high school romance based on The Taming of the Shrew. It was surprisingly good. It helped that we had just watched a movie of the play. Now we need to find a copy for Andrew to read. He has to write a paper comparing it to Romeo and Juliet to get honors in his literature class.

Mali got injured playing football in PE - she had to get a big strawberry bandaged up on her hip after sliding. She was very excited to have scored a touchdown, and has decided she loves football.
